Monday's Shopping Trip

Posted by Johnny

Sorry this took so long to edit, but it now has the full receipts listed!
I feel exceptionally happy about tonight's shopping trip. I am also extremely exhausted. Simply because the cart was so heavy at Meijer with the Capri Sun plus other bottles of stuff that it was killing my back just pushing it through the store! As soon as I got home I took some meds, then I took pictures.
I will post pictures tonight and then edit it tomorrow with a more thorough break-down.

I did two transactions because you are only able to use (1) MM/ transaction. So I could only use (1) for the Dressing, Mayo and Hot Dogs on each order. If you are patient you can do more than two. I am not that patient so I go in more than once a week, and do two transactions each time.

Total for all three stores = $51.61

Is there a coupon out there for Capri sun? Did I miss a good deal?

Yes, there was a $1/1 coupon, they were in the 4/19 papers. Too bad you missed...maybe you do have them and just don't remember? I am notoriuos for that.
BTW- They are only good on the Sunrise.
I haven't looked to see if they still have any on the clipper sites, but e-bay might.

Can I just add that I think the coupons in our local paper stink! I don't get up early enough to get the Detroit Free Press. It seems like they have more coupons then the local one - like the Capri Sun and the Kraft, I could go on and on. It is frustrating. I'm very thankful for IP's.

I so totally AGREE with you. HInt, if you don't mind the drive you can always go to Coldwater and pick them up. Just a thought. I know that when I have not been able to make in town in time to pick them up I go to Coldwater, Meijer.
Also, I too like to sleep in so if it was any other day besides Sunday I would not be up and around early enough to get papers. We usually get tehm after church and they have enough for me, which is around Noon.
